Introduction! throughmylens Hi Everyone! I would like to formally introduce throughmylens. I have only recently satisfied my karmic obligation to her by buying her a drink as a thank you for reading my CL missed connection ad and matching it with M's description of herself on the TTC Riders community livejournal. Ironiy, I've had much better luck meeting people I'm compatible with as a result of this missed connections thing than any amount of Internet dating in the last two years. Throughmylens rocks - she's sweet, respectful, an animal lover and may soon become a CL forums addict - uh I mean aficionado - just like me. If you see her posting, it would be wonderful if you'd give her a "merry meet".

I didn't know there were turtles? Is one names "Tank"? I think that's a great turtle name.

Well... One is named Filmore (from the Sherman's Lagoon cartoon strip), the other my mom named Tuppence, although I think Tank is far better.. It's easier to change a turtle's name than a dog's. :)

Right - you have scaley critters too, don't you? Any crawlies that'd make me shriek "PINEAPPLE!!!"? I'm not great with spiders, but I can deal with snakes and lizards. Iguanas scare me a bit because I knew a few mean ones...

Oh my Gosh! Snakes? Not for me! The turtles I could deal with, as well as the spiders. And I agree, Tank is an awesome name! I also welcome you to !!!!

No spiders here. D is phobic... If it has more than x legs, it will never be able to live in our home, unfortunately. The two snakes are pretty cool. One is a small species that will stay that size (x-ish feet). The other is a species that will get larger when it's full grown, but right now it's a baby, and by the time it's grown, the kid it actually belongs to will have moved out an taken it with him.
